Almost daily, I arrive at the conclusion all over again that nothing satisfies. The longing of the soul to be completed only comes from the One who created it. It’s a spiritual agony, true and deep. “My Lord, when will I see your face?” I wonder. It is a pain so deeply rooted in a sincere desire to belong completely to our Heavenly Father; to have communion with Him, fellowship, and perfect unity.

Many of us have dreams that have somehow slipped away into the hands of time. Or perhaps we allowed them to go as we started families and chose to stay home. Joy in the Midst of a Sink Full of Dishes
